  Is Male Enhancement Going Mainstream?
There is a new game in town and it's called "Male Enhancement." No longer is this subject hush hush among the male members of society. Penile enhancement has popped up everywhere, including primetime television. So how many guys are looking for male enhancement? According to Internet stats, over 500,000 searches per month and growing!

Guys will be forever obsessed with their size that no amount of therapy or reassurance will cure. If the truth be told, the majority of women really don't care about size near as much as the male ego does. Women want to be romanced and adorned by their male counterparts.

The real reason why many men seek out male enhancement is to feel better about themselves and honestly, that's all that really matters. Having self confidence goes a really long way with women and if a guy feels really great about himself because of male enhancement, then why not?

There is a wide variety of enhancement methods out and also a lot of scams. It's tough to sift through all the B.S. to get to the stuff that really works. Enhancement pills do increase blood flow and expand blood vessels, but the effects only last as long as you take the supplements.

Lately, there has been a lot of press about traction devices that stretch the male member and hold it in place. There has been private studies and reports in health magazines showing proven results. Yet the medical community is reluctant to embrace the findings.

I think it's just a matter of time until one of the big pharmaceutical companies see what type of market they are dealing with and come out with a device that's endorsed by prominent members of the medical community nationwide.

If that happens, it wouldn't be surprising to see male enhancement devices in big name chain fitness stores like GNC or Vitamin Shoppe. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with this. It just goes back to the "feeling good about yourself thing."

Women get the hair and nails done and go shopping, so what's wrong with guys wanting to feel good about themselves? One thing is for sure, male enhancement is here to stay and the market is just going to get bigger. So wouldn't it be a lot easier to embrace the change than to shun it?

Chlamydia: Checking The Infectious Bacteria Group & The Ailments
CHECKING CHLAMYDIA

The term Chlamydia refers to a bacteria collection. It causes different types of infectious ailments in human beings and animals.

CHLAMYDIA ILMENTS

There are two main types of Chlamydia diseases. They are Chlamydia trachomatis and Chlamydia pneumoniae. People having multiple sex partners are prone to various strains of chlamydia.

CHLAMYDIA BACTERIA

The three species of chlamydia are Chlamydia psittaci, Chlamydia trachomatis and Chlamydia pneumoniae.

CHLAMYDIA PSITTICA

Chlamydia psittica occurs in rare cases. People affected by Chlamydia psittica experience a flu-like illness. It is called psittacosis. It is also known as parrot fever as the organism is mostly carried by lovebirds, parakeets, and parrots. Many cats, and other animals and avian species carry this organism. Occasionally human beings may also be the carriers of Chlamydia psittica. Usually, people working with pets like birds and animals contract the Chlamydia psittica syndrome. Therefore, the most prone sections of humans are the workers employed in poultry processing plants, or pet shops and avian pet owners.

CHLAMYDIA TRACHOMATIS STRAINS

This is the most common chlamydia illness. It is caused by the different strains of trachomatis bacteria species. A particular Chlamydia trachomatis strain affects the eyes. The resultant illness is conjunctivitis. During conjunctivitis, the eyes turn red and there is swelling. Moreover, the eyes become light sensitive. There can also be pus discharge from the eyes. Most importantly, babies may contract chlamydia infections from their mothers even before they are born.

TRACHOMA

This is a severe type of conjunctivitis. Trachoma is caused by a fly-borne strain of Chlamydia trachomatis. If untreated, trachoma can lead to blindness. Trachoma cases are common in the Third World countries.

LYMPHOGRANULOMA VENEREUM

Another offshoot of Chlamydia trachomatis is Lymphogranuloma venereum. This ailment affects the lymphatic tissue. Many people in the tropical regions are affected by this disease. Lymphogranuloma venereum is rare in USA, though.

CHLAMYDIA TRACHOMATIS & AIDS

There is a close link between Chlamydia trachomatis and various STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) including AIDS. Chlamydia trachomatis generally gets transmitted through sexual intercourses with affected persons. In the USA, three million people fall prey to Chlamydia trachomatis-caused STD cases every year. These mainly include NGU (nongonococcal urethritis). NGU is an infection of the urinary tract.

CHLAMYDIA TRACHOMATIS (STD) SYMPTOMS

The Chlamydia trachomatis form passing on through sex can affect both the sexes. The common symptoms of Chlamydia trachomatis (sexually transmitted) are pain and watery discharge during urinating. The women can also have vaginal inflammation as well as swelling of the ovaries, Fallopian tubes, uterus, and the cervix. There can be genital area pain, abdominal pain, fever, and vaginal discharge.
Notably, as much as 70 per cent of women suffering from Chlamydia trachomatis infections do not have any symptoms. So, the ailment also remains untreated. Ultimately, Chlamydia trachomatis degenerates into serious conditions: These may include infertility, ectopic pregnancy, and pelvic inflammatory disease.

CHLAMYDIA PNEUMONIAE

Chlamydia pneumoniae affects the upper respiratory tract. Chlamydia pneumoniae infections can also strike the bronchitis, pneumonitis, and the pharyngitis. Chlamydia pneumoniae is a contagious ailment caused by the Chlamydia set of bacteria. Chlamydia pneumoniae can also lead to heart attacks and coronary heart diseases.

Anybody between the ages of five to 35 can be affected by Chlamydia pneumoniae. The In fact, Chlamydia pneumoniae has been identified as the second main cause of pneumonia in US. Chlamydia pneumoniae bouts are usually mild in nature. The Chlamydia pneumoniae symptoms are fever and cough. At times, there can be more sputum production. Sputum is a mixture of various mucus and saliva. It arises from the respiratory tracts.

The Chlamydia pneumoniae symptoms may not be very visible initially. Or, at times, the Chlamydia pneumoniae signs may also point to the other forms of Chlamydia dysfunctions. One type is the chlamydia type of illnesses caused by various strains of the trachomatis species. Another severe type of chlamydia disease is caused by a strain of the fly-borne Chlamydia trachomatis.

TREATING CHLAMYDIA

Antibiotics are quite effective in treating Chlamydia infections.

To diagnose Chlamydia infections, patients generally have to undergo various tests. These include cell cultures that exclude other illnesses with similar symptoms. The other ailments having similar symptoms are candidiasis, trichomoniasis, herpes, and gonorrhea. The modern method of diagnosing Chlamydia infections are immunoassays blood tests. These examinations pinpoint the specific antibody that may have been constituted by the patients immune system against chlamydia infection.

MANDATORY SCREEN TESTS

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) suggests yearly screening for chlamydia especially for all sexually active women. Such periodic screenings are must for such women under 20 years of age and those above 20 years. It is also mandatory for such women enjoying multiple sex partners. To prevent re-infection, all the individuals who have had sexual relationships with the affected person, must be treated for Chlamydia infections or STDs (sexually transmitted diseases). An important preventive measure is the latex condom during intercourse. This step can prevent transmission of chlamydial infection.

The Three Biggest Exercise Myths for Women
There are many myths and fallacies surrounding women and weight training. Many women are put off from lifting weights because of the circulation of these myths. Here, well set the record straight and debunk these myths and hopefully answer any questions you might have about the impact of weight training.

Myth 1: I dont want to get too big

Often time, women who start lifting weights say that they do not want to get big to their trainers. For as long as I have been personal training, probably every other female client that I have trained as told me that. Many times women see images of female bodybuilders in popular fitness magazines (virtually all of them are chemically enhanced) think that they will end up very muscular looking when they put a hand on a dumb bell. This is simply not true. This is because women do not have the same level of testosterone as men. Thus, their muscle develops much more slowly.

Myth 2: Toning and sculpting are different from building muscle

When I hear that women only want to tone and sculpt their bodies, I often laugh. When applied to muscle, tone and sculpt means that you want to build muscle. There is no difference between toning a muscle and building a muscle. People must realize that women are scared to death that they are going to look big (see the above myth). The fitness industry began to use phrases like tone your arm, to trick women that they are not building muscle. So the end message here is that, tone, sculpt and muscle build means the same thing but just used differently according to gender.

Myth 3: Women and men should train differently even though they have the same goal

Again this statement is not true at all. Women are men are very similar physiologically. If you look at some of the books at Barnes and Noble, you will find that these books have pictures of other women doing the same basic exercises, such as a squat, lunges, bench press, etc. Exercises are exercises. There is no just a purely womens exercise and there is certainly no guy exercise.

Test Drive Your Diet Plan Over The Holidays
You wouldn't buy a new car without taking it for a test drive. Then why commit to a diet plan without testing it first?

Think about it.

You test-drive a car to make sure you'll enjoy a smooth, comfortable ride. And most importantly, you want to know the car will take you to your destination.

If it doesn't, you won't buy that car. Or if you've been duped and got stuck with a "lemon," you'll trade the car for one that works.

Then why don't we hold our diet plans to the same standards?

We've been so conditioned to suffer when we lose weight that we've come to expect - and accept - a bumpy ride in the form of hunger, deprivation and unappetizing food.

And how many times has your diet plan or weight loss program failed to get you to your destination, otherwise known as your target weight?

You deserve to know if your weight loss program will work in any situation at any time of the year.

So take your diet plan for a test drive. And if it doesn't work, don't make excuses for it don't beat yourself up like it's your fault just dump it.

The hardest tests for any diet plan happen during the holidays because they're a source of endless temptation.

Many of these holiday tests occur in social situations. Which makes sense because other people often put intense pressure on us to cheat on our diets.

So unless you intend to become a hermit or a martyr, make sure your diet plan gives you a smooth, comfortable ride past these 7 holiday tests:

1. Holiday Dinners.

The biggest one in the U.S. is Thanksgiving. But each holiday presents its own eating challenges.

Are you going to miss all the pleasures of holiday dinners - including the social aspects of sharing traditional foods - just because you need to lose weight?

There will always be special occasions like holiday dinners, birthdays and weddings that won't fit into a stringent diet.

So choose a weight loss program that can handle these special occasions realistically and let you enjoy life.

2. The Big Game.

In the U.S., it's the Super Bowl.

But there are many sporting events throughout the year where food plays a big role. Are you really going to nibble celery and carrot sticks when everyone else is enjoying pizza and beer?

Or will you simply skip any event that threatens your weight loss success?

That's no way to live.

You don't have to eat everything in sight. But you should find a diet plan that will let you socialize at sporting events without feeling like an outcast.

3. Holiday Parties.

One of the biggest social tests for any diet plan is a holiday party. But parties can occur throughout the year.

Whether it's with a group of friends or professional colleagues, there's a lot of pressure to join in the fun - and that includes eating and drinking.

Make sure your diet plan provides effective strategies for dealing with drinks and party snacks.

4. Restaurants and Dining Out.

This test can happen throughout the year, but never more intensely than during the holiday season.

Can your weight loss program handle it or will it be a diet killer?

5. The Office.

Your office can cause any number of diet disasters.

Candy jars, morning doughnut surprises, birthday parties, retirement parties, client lunches, client dinners, and of course, holiday office parties.

With candy jars, you can graciously decline to snack. It's just a matter of willpower.

But with client dinners and holiday office parties, you'd better show up or it could cost you your job. So if you want to lose weight, you have to be able to work these situations into your diet plan.

More eating temptations occur at the office during the holidays than at any other time. So if your diet plan works then, you should be safe throughout the year.

6. Holiday Desserts.

Sweet temptations abound over the holidays - whether you're at social gatherings or home alone trying to resist leftover desserts. Can you work these sweets into your diet from time to time?

If you can, you should be able to successfully handle any cravings for sweets during the rest of the year.

7. No Time To Exercise.

Even though exercise is good for your health, exercise programs often become the first casualty of the busy holiday season.

But problems with exercise can occur at any time during the year. Suppose you're injured in an accident. Or work or family problems take up so much time, you can't exercise.

It's best to choose a diet plan that will work with or without regular exercise. The weight loss benefits of exercise should be a bonus, not a necessity.

*****

These are the 7 hardest holiday tests. But there's another reason to make sure your diet plan will survive the holidays: they come around every year.

You don't want to reach your target weight during the off-season only to regain your extra pounds over the holidays.

So test-drive your diet plan this holiday season.

If you can enjoy a smooth, comfortable ride and reach your destination (or at least come closer to it), then you can be reasonably confident that your weight loss program will work throughout the year.
